Who are Sax Among Friends? Sax Among Friends is a trio of professional musicians/entertainers led by saxophonist Don Wade. The trio provides high quality musical entertainment, peforming in and around Vancouver, British Columbia. Featuring saxophone, string bass and guitar, the trio has over 100 years of combined experience entertaining a broad range of audiences. Our music focuses on popular and recognizable smooth-jazz standards, ballads and show tunes. Over the years we have developed a different and much appreciated dimension to some of our performances, enhancing the entertainment aspect by involving our audiences with humorous anecdotes and insightful comments about the music. Whether as foreground or background entertainment, Sax Among Friends is a perfect complement to a wide spectrum of events, gatherings, social and business functions. |
